The creamy brown rind and orange-yellow flesh makes this bottle-shaped squash very popular. 12.5 x 30 cm (5 x 12") fruit. Water liberally during dry spells. Watch out for late freezes! Light frost will not harm, but deep frost will affect keeping quality. squash.


Flavor : Delicate sweetness with nutty flavor

Preparation ideas : Preheat the oven to 400 F. Peel the squash. Cut the squash in half and remove the seeds. Cut into 1" pieces and place in a single layer on a baking sheet. Toss the squash pieces with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until tender. until the squash is lightly browned and tender with a fork.
